Privacy policy

Quick answer

GoLottoWins has no accounts, no shopping cart and no payment processor, so there is no order data to protect in the first place. We collect ordinary server logs and basic, aggregated analytics, plus whatever you send us by email to [email protected]. We do not sell personal information, and we never will.

What this policy covers, and why it is short

This page explains what GoLottoWins collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written in plain English on purpose, because a privacy policy that needs a lawyer to read it has already failed at the one job it has.

The short version is that there is not much to explain. This is a small editorial site that publishes odds, arithmetic and claim checks. It does not sell tickets, systems, subscriptions or anything else, and it has no relationship with any lottery, retailer or seller of lottery products. A site with nothing to sell has very little reason to collect information about the people reading it, and that shows in the list below.

No commerce, so little to collect

Why there is no order data to talk about

Most privacy policies spend their longest sections on account data, payment details and order history, because most sites have all three. This one does not, because none of those things exist here.

  • No user accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
  • No shopping cart, no checkout and no payment processor of any kind.
  • No saved payment cards, billing addresses or shipping addresses, because nothing is ever shipped.
  • No order history, because there has never been an order.
  • No loyalty programme, no membership tier and no subscription to cancel.

That is not a policy choice we could reverse quietly. It follows directly from what this site is: an independent source of odds and arithmetic that sells nothing. If that ever changed, it would be written here, dated, before it happened, the same commitment we make on the terms page.

The complete list

What we actually collect

Everything GoLottoWins collects, in one table
WhatWhy we have itTied to you personally?
Basic server logsStandard web-server behavior: the address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser reported. Used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. Not deliberately. IP addresses are logged briefly like any web server's, not matched to a name.
An analytics cookie or equivalentTo see, in aggregate, which pages get read and whether a page is loading slowly. Counts and trends, not individual visitor profiles.No. We look at totals, not at you.
A strictly necessary cookie or twoThe handful of technical settings a page needs to function at all, such as remembering that a menu was expanded.No.
Your email, if you write to [email protected]So we can read your message, reply to it, and act on it (for example, fixing a wrong number).Yes, for that one conversation.

That is the complete list. We do not run advertising networks that follow you to other sites, we do not buy or sell mailing lists, and we do not build a profile of any individual reader across visits. Analytics on this site exist to answer one question, whether the arithmetic pages are being read, and nothing more.

Corrections and questions

What happens when you email us

If you email [email protected] about corrections, questions about the arithmetic, press, that message goes to a small editorial desk, not a marketing system. We read it, we may reply, and if it points out a wrong number, we fix the page and note when it was fixed. We aim to answer during Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET, though a mailbox does not always move that fast.

We keep the email thread only as long as we reasonably need it to resolve whatever you wrote in about. We do not add your address to a newsletter, because this site does not run one, and we do not pass your email to anyone else. If you ask us to delete a past email exchange once it is resolved, we will.

State privacy rights, in plain words

Your privacy rights if you live in the US

A number of US states, starting with California and followed by others, now give residents specific rights over personal information that a website holds about them. We are not lawyers and this page is not a legal opinion on which exact rights apply to which state; it is a plain description of what we will do for any US reader who asks, regardless of which state's law technically applies.

See it

Ask what personal information we hold about you. Given the list above, this is usually short: server-log entries and any email you sent us.

Correct it

Ask us to fix something inaccurate. If it is about your email correspondence, we will correct or update it.

Delete it

Ask us to delete what we hold about you, subject to normal limits like needing to keep a record briefly to comply with the law.

Opt out of sale or sharing

This one is easy here, because we do not sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context advertising. There is nothing to opt out of.

Not be discriminated against

Asking us to do any of the above never changes how the site treats you. There is no membership tier to lose.

To use any of these, email [email protected] and tell us what you would like. Because this site keeps so little tied to any individual, most requests can be answered quickly. If your state gives you a right we have not listed here, tell us that too and we will look into it rather than assume it does not apply.

Not directed at children

Children

GoLottoWins is written for adults who are old enough, in their own state, to buy a lottery ticket, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will remove it. Note, separately, that the legal age to purchase a lottery ticket at all varies by state and is a question for your own state lottery, not for a policy about website data.

Security and retention

How we look after what little we hold

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and the amount of information worth protecting is, by design, small: there are no accounts to breach and no payment details to expose, because neither exists. What we do hold, mainly server logs and any email you send us, is kept only as long as it serves the purpose described above and is accessible only to the people running this desk.

No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say that plainly than promise something we cannot guarantee. If we ever believe personal information has been exposed in a way that matters to you, we will say so.

Kept current

Changes to this policy

This policy is dated, like every page on this site. We may update it as the site changes, and when we do, the date below will change too. We do not backdate changes or apply them quietly to a past visit; a material change to what we collect would be written here before it took effect, in the same spirit as the commitment on the terms and conditions page.

This page was last checked 2026-09-24, alongside every other figure on the site.

Contact

How to reach us about your data

Questions about any of this, or a request under the rights described above, go to [email protected]. Tell us what you would like and we will handle it during Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET. General questions about the site itself, rather than about your data specifically, are also welcome on the contact page, and about this site explains who is behind it.

For how the site handles content and corrections rather than data, see editorial standards. For the rules of using the site itself, see terms and conditions, and for what this site is and is not, see the disclaimer.

Privacy policy: common questions

Does GoLottoWins have user accounts?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into, so there is no account data to collect in the first place.

Does this site sell my personal information?

No, and it never has. There is no advertising network buying reader profiles here and no mailing list being sold to anyone.

Do you use cookies?

A small number of strictly necessary cookies for the page to function, plus a basic analytics cookie that counts page views in aggregate. Neither builds a personal profile.

What happens if I email a correction?

It goes to a small editorial desk at [email protected], gets read, and if it is right, the page gets fixed and dated. We keep the thread only as long as we need it.

Can I ask what data you hold on me?

Yes. Email us and ask. Given how little the site collects, the answer is usually a short one: server-log entries and any email you sent.

Do children's privacy rules apply here?

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Contact us if you believe that has happened.

What if this policy changes?

The date at the top of the page will change with it, and a material change to what we collect will be written here before it takes effect, not after.

Is this page legal advice about my rights?

No. It is a plain description of what we will do for any US reader who asks. For a legal opinion on exactly which rights apply in your state, talk to a professional.

Powerball is 1 in 292,201,338 and Mega Millions is 1 in 290,472,336 for one play. Every figure on this site is dated, sourced and shown with its arithmetic, and we sell nothing that could change any of it.
